breather plug

A permeable plug which is normally fitted to the hydraulic oil tank and allows air to pass in and out, preventing a vacuum from forming inside the tank

Model Number

The Model Number is an alphanumeric code which describes the basic type and specifications of a Simpro machine. It can normally be found on the machine rating plate, or on a small meta tag affixed to the frame.

Serial Number

The Serial Number is an alphanumeric code which uniquely identifies every Simpro machine ever made. It can normally be found on the machine rating plate, or on a small meta tag affixed to the frame.

T

Tek® screws

Tek® screws are a brand of self-tapping fastener, with small carving at the end of the tip called a drill bit. Other brands of self-tapping fastener are available.

transit plug

A temporary non-permeable plug which is fitted to the hydraulic oil tank while the machine is being shipped, to prevent hydraulic fluid from leaking
